I'm sick of paying $10 for parking that's not seen by DCU in any way. Is anyone interested in car pooling from, say, the commuter lot on Wiele & the Toll Road? We could split the parking, give the driver a buck apeice for gas, and have more fun.

I think this board would be a good place to organize this. Anyone up for this?

Will we be allowed to drink alcohol and smoke anything in your car pool? Also, will you make an effort to drive to Rockville and pick me up? By the way, I'm a generous tipper. :)

Aren't you the guy who posted that you would rather watch boxing then DCU? Yeah ill pick you up man, if Im not there an hour before the game just keep waiting.

Id be interested in a car pool but Im from Fairfax. Would you have any interest in car pooling from closer to GMU? It would be more central Fairfax County

I'd definitely be willing to listen to ideas for carpooling from anywhere between GMU and Reston, as I am basically in the middle of these two.

Thamlin19, if you're from Chantilly, then Fair Oaks Mall might be a good place to meet for a car pool. I don't know if that is out of the way for johnaldo9.

Anyone who wants to smoke and drink on the way can tie a skateboard to my bumper.

Sounds good. I know a couple girls who might want to get in on this as well.

Good. That's 4-6 people so far. My car seats 5, if you're friendly (it's a Hyundai Elantra.) We could decide which and how many cars when we meet.

I was thinking the next home game on 5/17 would be a good time to start. When I usually meet people at Fair Oaks, I meet them in the parking lot outside the lower-level Sears at the Uno's Pizza place entrance. It has good access to and from Rt. 50 and West Ox Rd. I usually park away from the mall near the access road where there is a row of trees dividing the parking lot in two. I have a Silver Elantra, and I can stick an OTC on the top. I think we should meet around 6:30.

Not that it's any of my business, but you'll miss the best part of the game...the tailgate! Unless you mean 6:30 AM... :)

630 is kind of pushing it I think. But 5 should be fine.

My van seats 7 but has extremely ****************** gas mileage so I'd love to get out of driving as much as possible.

Oops. I just noticed that May 17th is a double header. I would like to go to both games. Anyone up for that, or an extra-long tailgate? Since the first game starts at 5, how about meeting at 4:15? I'll make the game and you'll make it to the beer.

If not, we can try again on June 7th.

United should sign you for that game. Both Quaranta and Magee scored on prom night. And they got a goal in their match too.

    :D

I tried talking the group into club seats at the game with the Limo and stuff. Didn't work. I skipped prom last year and witnessed the 4-2 thrashing of the Scum, but I just couldn't do it again.
