Interliga teams:

América - Beat San Luis 4-1
Monterrey - Beat Santos 1-0
Cruz Azul - Beat Pachuca 3-2
Morelia - Beat Atlante 3-1
Necaxa - Beat Jaguares 3-1
Tecos - Beat Tigres 2-1

Looks like the "preseason" games helped tremendously.

 

Morales placed it perfectly, but what was up with Cristante? No effort going after the ball and instead of diving for it he falls to his knees, what was that about?

 

there was no way he wouldve got it. He was caught by surprise. Plus hes old.

 

I think the goal keeper for San Luis could have done more on that goal by el jorobao, he missjudged that one completaly.

 

Probably so. Thats one of the reasons I think experience is overrated for goalkeepers. Experienced just means that you are old and have lost a step, not something you want to have in a position where reflexes can be key.

 

I don't think that he was expecting Cuau to shoot from there, that's why he was caught off-guard.

Dont know if you guys know but for the liguilla the refs will be using the wireless head set to comminicate with the sideline refs. The ones they use in the world cups. Also they'll be getting new substitute boards the ones they use when they make subs during a game.

 

Why do it for liguilla only?

 

I heard a directivo mentioning that the headsets were on order.

Should have shipped them UPS.

He also mentioned that they were of the highest quality.

 

Lucky for the teams involved in descenso that Querataro is weaker, by far.

In the last play of the 1st half, Cubero punches Blanco in the right kidney, Blanco turns around and tries to slap him, but misses, then this ref yellow cards Blanco

Tigres vs. America has been a nasty 'hit #10' game for a few years now, but now there's no 10 for Tigres

 

If Gimenez had scored that goal, that would of been the gol of the season (so far). Good thing he missed.

William Paredes got a red card. I don't believe the second yellow was fair.

THey can't win a game even with those players they acquried.
