I just wanted to clarify. POY as in Player of the Year, as opposed to the Ronnie O'Brien type of POY, right?

Gotta love the draft so far. In a draft lacking in top drawer talent, we got the 2nd or third best talent available, we got the best performing defender supposedly at the combine, about 20 slots after he was projected to go, and we got a need pick in for the people worried about depth and strength in the attacking third. Lastly we added a ton of size to address our inept corner kick prowess (how in the heck we scored on a corner against Chelsea 18 months ago remains one of the greatest shocks of my life) and we did so. With our first three picks we got size, talent, and a some need all addressed. Excellent. I would have passed on North myself, but since we got Needham anyway I won't be complaining.

    *snicker*

Stil doesn't compare to Colorado taking Hughes, though

If we don't take a goalie - I would take a flier on Patterson.

I'd rather go for O'Neill, but Patterson wouldn't be the worst pick

North seems like our power forward pick - Patterson sould bring some speed. I assume Schramm is a tweener based on his size.
