From Buzz: Northwestern 6'1 185 28 career goals.

So with our 2 picks so far we have now doubled the average height on the team ;)

Well, he's from where my girlfriend went to high school, so I've been to his hometown.

Outside of that I know nothing about the guy.

Quickly from Google, and a bio:

    He's 8'6"
    306lbs
    22 y/o
    From: Our Dreams

Concensus is that he'll be useful on corners.

As off the Radar as this guy was you would figure he would be available in the third round or even later.

Think we'll snag a goalkeeper with our next pick? Noble from West ********ing Virginia perhaps?

From one Northwestern writeup. Could be a guy who missed time but was good when he played.

So we draft someone who wasn't at the combine? We couldn't get them later in the draft?

Those options are worse than trading 1 of the dmids. Olsen cant play on the edges for an entire season. Physically won't be able to keep up with runners up and down the wing for a season. Trading the only central player who is young, reasonably talented and experienced, And under contract, is a foolish one. DC seems to me to be at the point of making a mistake that many poor teams make ......... hanging on to players because of their history with a team, instead of making the strictly business decision.

The Revs just took Ryan Solle from Wake Forest.

Were they correcting themselves from their first round pick? They pointed at his name and the Commish read off the midfielder listed below him on the Wake Forest page.
