I'd go with the Umbro's personally but i'd try both on and see which fits you better.

    Fixed your post.

As a rule of thumb, always stay away from Nike.

    Adidas - Engineered to Perform
Nike - Engineered to Look Pretty.

Here's a question, I play in an indoor facility that uses more of a field turf, with plastic grass and rubber chips. Some players wear clears, others wear traditional indoor shoes.

I had been wearing my Sambas, but now I feel like I want more traction, and maybe a stiffer leather to get power on the ball while shooting from distance. What do you think? Are their hybrid shoes designed for this surface?

    Cleats. Cleats. Cleats.

I use Tunits on that stuff, which are nice and stiff... with hard grounds on the front and firm grounds in the heels.

Any turf shoe will work great on Field Turf indoors. I wear Puma King TT Turfs and they work great for indoor field turf fields. I don't find they work great outdoors if there is moisture on the field, in that case I wear Nike Legend FG's.

Agee 100%. Love my Puma King TTs, except for when the grass is wet. You might as well be wearing ice skates.

Don't buy the Brasilian, I bought a pair for this season and the rubber sole has already split from the shoe on the toebox and the right heel. Also I find the top of the heel to be very uncomfortable it's very hard and it's been digging into my skin, the first few times I played in the shoe it caused the upper part of my heel to bleed.

I agree - I like the look of the Brasilian for outdoor use because it had a bladed sole playe as apposed to the Legends' studs. I went to a Nike factory store which had them for very cheap and in my size. I tried them on and took them off almost immediately as it hurt my heel as you said.

Those Puma Execs look like a very nice choice.

I am going to have to take the opposite viewpoint, I love the Brasilian indoor, I also use the turf model as the Nike Legend indoor isn't up to snuf IMO and the Tiempo Premier is out of production.

I have used the white and black indoor model with no problem, their is a very slight peel at the toe where it forms the lip but it has not become worse over time and I have been very happy with the boots touch and feel. The heel also posed me no problem except a very ver minor blister but I think that was down to wear socks that are thinner than Nike socks and playing for 4 hours in them out of the box.

I did remove the fold over on the tounge on my indoor and one pair of my turfs I have found little difference without it other than if not getting in the way when hitting outswinging volleys every so often.

You all should try out the Nike First Touch II. recently i got a pair and its great for me. i play 2-3 hrs on them fresh out of the box and it didn't give me any problems. The touch was good, comfortable, feel light. over all good pair of shoes.

The only problem i have had a even better pair but its been discontinued. (Nike Air Garra) i think.

I've been playing a lot of turf recently...

Puma Kings TT are sweet. Get 'em a half size small and your shots will be smokin!

but don't wear them when it's wet.

I'm also partial to the adidas team mundials and they work swell on wet turf too.

If you happen to slide and rip off a third of the skin on your shin I have some great advice...

treat with neosporin and guaze for a day and then cover that baby with New Skin.

It burns baby burns when it goes on, and the stuff is wierd, but it works well. You can shower, wear guards comfortably, and forget you have a gaping wound on your leg for a few days.

I just got the new Air Zoom Control in the new red colorway, they are awesome!

Great fit and the rubber toe panels will add duribility to the boot, they are also super low to the ground which I love. The upper construction of this boot is very similar to the AZT's of Figo and Carlos with a tounge. I wish nike would bit the bullet and make them for everyone because the tounge helps you tighten the fiit of the boot more.

These also run really true to size. I am 10.5 in them as I am in most other Nike soccer stuff.

I wanted the azc ii fs in the neon green colorway and the nike air zoom brasilian in white with a black tick, but couldn't find them anywhere. If someone finds somewhere in stock in size 10 please post.

    Those Puma Execs look sweet.
I'm wearing Nike Total Shifts right now, but they're a poor fit.
I get serious foot cramps after 10-15 mins of wearing them.

Can anybody recommend boots that provide a great fit? narrow or wide?

you really have to try them out before getting them. i have the same problems with my total shifts as well. in the end its juz collecting dust. if ur feet is slightly wide, u might want to try Nike First Touch II or the Nike Air Zoom Control II.
