"Stick Your Blue Flag Up Your Arse"...

Yup, it's that time again. The SW6 Derby is upon us.

Since they no longer can say that we haven't beaten them since the Beatles were on top of the charts (and we're now winning London derbies again), I think it' safe to say we have a true rivalry again.

I haven't posted much in this forum or on BS too often lately, but I must say this has been a great Prem season; Better than any I can remember in a long time.

I've been lucky enough, having Setanta and FSC, to have seen every Fulham match this year, and it's been fun to see the team evolve.

What promise we showed with Bullard in the middle, showing the fire and skill he has. What a drag to see him go down.

Then we had the early away win at Newcastle, which made all of us faithful think that we'd have far less trouble away than last year- I guess not.

Then the recent big win at the Cottage against Arsenal- I was so proud of Boa Morte's determination in that game. We deserved that win.

McBride has clearly been the MVP thus far this season (again), and I would rate Zat Knight as having had a much, much improved level of play this year before he went down.

Routledge seems to be slowly integrating into the squad, but he holds the ball far too long, too often. Christanval as well is showing some tenacity, but still looks lost out there with the center-half door revolving so much.

I must say that I'm quite disappointed in Collins John. It looks like he's going through the motions out there, and Cookie senses that, I think, which is why he's riding the pine.

So, with Dempsey seeming to be a lock to sign on the dotted line and get his Harrod's platinum card (Make that 3 Yanks in a Fulham shirt. I love it), and hopefully another back set to join us, we hopefully can move up to a UEFA qualifying slot.

    I'd be satisfied with a top-ten finish.

As far as tomorrow goes, I'm watching the match with my hopes up but not above about how high McBride can knock the ball down for a Helguson full volley in the Blue Poo's net.

    ******** Chelsea!

FSC fanatic here - been searching for several years for a team to call my own... I have finally found a team worthy of supporting. What a performance today - Adding Deuce seals it. Time for the Whites to move to the England Club Forums, not just "More Clubs".

    UEFA here we come!

    Good game to watch today.

I admit it. With each additional Yank, my interest in following this team increases. It is interesting to watch USMNT members (and former members) compete against the best clubs in the world.

Adding Dempsey could be a heck of a North American marketing strategy. If only the kits weren't so plain! (Sorry in advance to anyone this offends...but they are a bit non-descript.)

Non-descript? But they have THUMBHOLES! We can hitchhike in comfort! Wish I could've seen the match against Chelski, but I was in France, and found no English football near my hotel.

One man's non-descript is another man's classy as hell :)

Oh, and fantastic effort by the whites at the Bridge... Routledge missed a few sitters, Fulham deserved all three points but one point is fantastic for us at this point.

You'll be happy to know that I have purchased a long sleeve shirt this year and there are NO thumbholes.

    I live by the river
was at the match and, yes, they fully deserved to win it. two germans on the pitch, one cost £15 mm from Bayern Munich, one came on a free transfer from Arsenal, guess which deserved motm?

yet how the whites can conspire to earn a point away at the champions then give away two to the cellar-dwellers at home... collins john was clearly trying to do his potential future employers a favor by spurning a variety of chances...

    Was NY, Now London
I was at the match as well and can say that after Boca scored all 3,200 Fulham fans were singing the Boca song all the way back to Fulham. The best away match yet...
