    Bergen Record article

    Bottom of the article:

-- Jeff Cunningham for Petke? (probably not)
-- Villegas and a draft pick for Faria and Addo? (good God, no!)
-- Eddie Pope for Faria and Addo? (probably, but DC said no)

Why would DC think we would want Villegas back? Especially considering they wanted Faria and Addo (as we're already weak on defense).

Maybe the Pope trade, I have always thought he did a good job for the USMNT. I would have also asked for a pick to go along with him too.

In the words of Pete Townshend:

    "So sad about us
    So sad about us
Sad that the news is out now
Sad, suppose we can't turn back now
    Sad about us..."

That's Paul Weller. And It's Townsend. Between the whining, bleating about results, and "who do we hate, cause I've never been to a match without my parents" Bigsoccer has gone from mostly useless to annoying stupid.
For me, this is the final straw. I think I'll just be a supporter, and leave the internet to the Fox news fans and the under 15 set.

i would have taken cunningham for petke...because you could put cunningham on the right side of mid field and have him pinch in the middle and push forward, like a landon donovan type deal...then i would put akwari in petkes spot and then i would still start lisi over paule

It's a Who song written by Townshend, covered by the Jam...trust me. In fact if you ever change your mind about the internet, you can hear a bit of the original:

By the way did you see last night's match-"...Sad, suppose we can't turn back now
    Sad about us..."
