I'm torn as to whether to post this here or in the women's int'l forum. I belive it'll be most visible by the most knowledgeable folks here, though, but feel free to move it.

With the NZFC coming to life, will women's soccer's structure change, or will it still be federation teams (like soccersouth vs. capital soccer) rather than club teams (like Otago United "women" vs. Team Wellington "women"?

It depends on whether they are playing at club level, in the Uncle Tobys Cup (club based knockout cup) or playing in the National Womens League (that is federation based).

i totally agree with you Glorious Fan. it seems to me that those at the ASA are sitting there doing nothing! i know they are figuring stuff out for the new APL but progress is so slow!!

at least the WNSL is running this year. :)

But i am dissapointed that the Western Waves only play 6 games and they have failed to book international fixtures, i mean i am sure that Austria, Morroco, Zimbabwe, Honduras and many other nations woul LOVE to play Australia. We should chase big nations but we should also chase other nations too :) AFTER ALL it IS the WORLD GAME!!!
