With one more home game left this season, probably the biggest in the history of the revolution franchise will they open up the whole lower bowl, will they just open up the 200 sections on the current seating side of the stadium? or will they cap it at 22000. Its a bad move to cap the attendance at 22000, I watched the game on television last night and heard that the game is already close to being sold out. A win next weekend v. Dallas will make this game possible for a #2 seed, possibly for a #9 seed. We need to have as many fannies in the seats to make this a memorable game to send off our beloved revolution to the playoffs.... Possiblities are endless, who would want to play a number 7 or 8 seed that has gone 5-0-1 in their last 6 games to charge into the playoffs....

I got my tickets, but I hope they open it up.

    The atmosphere would be awesome.

    I don't think so...

If they open up extra capacity, I have to imagine they would open the 200 sections on the east side, only because they've promised season ticket holders the right to move to the west side of the stadium for games that feature a fully-open lower bowl. I just don't see how they could either break that promise, or switch everyone's seats in such a short amount of time. For those of us who want to move for MLS Cup, they've asked us to have our request in by Monday, Sept. 9th for a game over a month away, and now they've got fewer people to deal with requests, so I just don't see how they could do it without taking away a privelege season ticket holders have paid for. I personally wouldn't care, I'd love to see the whole lower bowl packed for the Metros game, but I just don't see it happening. They should open the 200 levels, though, no question about it.

You said the game is almost sold out. I think we should have sombody call up Craig and just ask him how many tickets are sold so for. I would think he would know almost to the ticket how many are sold. I would like to see the whole bowl filled up and wouldn't care if sombody got a better seat then me because they ordered later. Bring in the money for the team and lets give them a real home field advantage. So if sombody does call craig let him know how we feel.

I just got off the phone with one of the ticket reps. I asked him if I could get a lump of tickets in the section I sit in. He said that section (105) is all but sold out. I could purchase tickets in 106 but it was not possible to get 8 tickets in the same section. :-( He says as of now they are close to selling out and they donot have plans to open up more seats at this point. He does also say that when they do hit 22000 that they would open up more seats probably. "Probably!!!" oh geez, they will make alot of unhappy revolution fans if they cannot open up more seats. I am a season ticket holder and I would not mind at all if they open up more seats for this game whether it be accross from us or above us. THey really need to sell the crap out of this game. If we can put 35238 fannies in the seats for the finale we would reach the average of 18000 for the year. Not too bad for a team that has been less then fun to watch on the pitch this year.

The Mutts fans will be in the south endzone behind the goal opposite the Fort.
