Necaxa would gain more credibility and their fan base would double. There are many Necaxa fans and there are people that despite liking Necaxa wont follow them because of the Club America tie ins.. You may talk about the Aspes and Lunas and Zagues but as sweet as that sounds you are not saying the full story. Zague and Luna even Blanco were sent to Necaxa after Ameriica felt they had no use for them. And players that had done good fopr Necaxa like Aspe and Sergio el Raton Zarate you took away. Yah even went after Aguinaga who allways refused to play in Coapa. The day Televisa purchase an Abreu and Necaxa gets first dibs then you can talk.

As far as cutting into Americas funds, LOL. Seriously bro if any one fronts the bill its Televisa. I honestly dont think Televisa will let go of Necaxa. Especially because of the power it means to have more than one Club in the MFL. As long as Burillo Azcarrage has Atlante and Jaguares. Televisa will stay with America, San Luis and Necaxa..

right.. and your "What happend to Club America" poll was fair?

Anyhoo i deleted my added options including the one that was generating the most Votes, heh..

Dude, if I wanted my thread changed I would ask or just post them in the Mexican club forums where efern has jurisdiction. He seems to change my thread titles from time to time getting all creative on me.

    Where are the Necaxistas ?

thats a good question? A question that has been asked since the 1930s and 1940s

you really dont believe that do you?

There are many Necaxa fans and there are people that despite liking Necaxa wont follow them because of the Club America tie ins..

yeah, right... not follow your cluib because you dont like the fact that they are tied to Televisa.

    news flashh...

the fan base was gone long ago way before Televisa ever stepped in the picture.

They lost the fan while the remaining family and members of the union fought for rights to the club.

They were even invited to join the Fuerza Mayor back in 42 (1st year of professional ball) but declined because they didnt have the funds. Back then, attendance paid the bills along with a couple sponsors in the stadiums.

They didnt even join the league until 8-9 years later. How do you root for a club that only exist in paper but doesnt play games?

You may talk about the Aspes and Lunas and Zagues but as sweet as that sounds you are not saying the full story.

    Yeah.. and you know it.

honestly VS.. just a little common sense? for a team that cant pull its weight. Sales little merchandise. does not sell tickets. Its ratings are lower than average.. how in the hell can they acquire players of that caliber?

Zague and Luna even Blanco were sent to Necaxa after Ameriica felt they had no use for them. And players that had done good fopr Necaxa like Aspe and Sergio el Raton Zarate you took away.

That is irrelevant. That is just dirty journalism in hopes to cuase trouble and sell papers. Why dont they tell the truth and say... "Hey, for a team that cant pull its phuking weight, they sure as hell get pretty good players. There are teams that have good marketing strategies and sell out (like the teams in MTy) yet rarely get that type of caliber player.

Yah even went after Aguinaga who allways refused to play in Coapa. The day Televisa purchase an Abreu and Necaxa gets first dibs then you can talk.

little common sense will take you a long way

No one ever says anything about the Grupo Modelo (Santos, Toluca), Grupo Femsa (Monterrey), Grupo TV Azteca (Morelia, Leon), Grupo Pegaso (Chiapas, Atlante) and all thier side deals ... no... those are owners that have become what they despised... but think they are being ethical about it..

and who really got you that stadium? Do you think the financial backers would have been hesitant to build that if they didnt see Televisa behind your club name?

Well, Necaxa got out of MC. Getting to someplace where people would come out to support them matters more than whether a media conglomerate disowns them. After all, TV Azteca or some new media company would come knocking the minute they learn that they're "free". :D
