Majed Hassan is with the team the last name on the left column, but not Caio Canedo and K. Ismail, Khamies Ismail has not been starting with Al Wahda and lost his spot with both club and NT to 20 y/o Abdulla Hamad.

as for Mr. Canedo who they say he is injured yet Al Ain club say he will compete in their derby game against Al Wahda tonight, If that happens it will proves the fact that National team not benefiting from those players, they are just allowing their clubs to benefit from having extra players foreign player.

Sebastian is old and washed up, Fabio Lima is the only good player that's why they keep Al Ain keep trying to get him from Al Wasl, and even Lima seems playing through injury.

There is an official site for WAFF U23?

I wonder why Qatar isn't there. With them would have been 12 teams.

www.the-waff.com, as for Qatar maybe their first team coach wants to try most their U23 players on the 1st squad or resting for the, and they don't have the depth that the Saudi's for example, 10 teams participating in the U16 Oman wont take part of it.

All team agreed to participate in the first team tournament in UAE 2023, before the Asian cup

As expected Ali Saleh seems to be on another level. Doesn't seems to be very enthusiastic. Probably wants to be with the senior team...

of course that's a downgrade for him, and two his teammates through the juniors team are with the seniors, Tahnoon & Majed Rashed and he was started for the senior squad in the WC qualifiers pre-covid, but his performance lately has been in a decline and even in the club he is coming of the bench in the last two games hopefully this will help become improve and focus on football instead of social media.

Bert van Marwijk excited by 'bigger' Iran test and maintains belief in UAE World Cup bid:

The national team face Iran at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai, as they look to bounce back from last month’s disappointing opening to their final-round campaign. The UAE drew their first two matches - against Lebanon at home and away to Syria - and now host an Iran who sit top of Group A with maximum points.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Van Marwijk said:
“Yes, this is a game I’m looking forward - I like these games. The UAE have never beaten Iran in their history. Iran is a very good opponent, No 22 in the world, No 1 in Asia. A lot of their players are playing in big competitions in Europe, in big clubs.

“So that makes the challenge, for me, bigger and bigger. I told my team a lot of times than maybe you don’t have all the time the best players, but we must be the best team. I have a lot of faith in my team.”

The UAE will be without captain Walid Abbas and key midfielder Ali Salmeen, who are both injured, although Van Marwijk emphasised that he has “a lot of trust” in their replacements.

    Saudi Arabia 3-0 Bahrain
    Kuwait 1-1 Oman
    Iraq 2-2 Lebanon

even the UAE coach played with a deferent line up maybe he is using these matches as preparation for the U23 Asian Cup qualifires in Uzbekistan 2022, UAE will host Group E in Fujairah.

    October 25th
    UAE v Kyrgyzstan

    October 28th
    UAE v India

    October 31st
    UAE v Oman

but still compared to the previous olympic squads this squad has the least talents we have seen in recent years.

On Thursday, Mehdi Taremi struck the decisive blow, the player from Porto in an established European league proving his pedigree. For the UAE, they can look only to next Tuesday, at home to Iraq, as another opportunity to go again.

What you think UAE is lacking ?

Was really expecting great from them especially under BVM & the strike force of Ali Makhbout, but things are not going as expected.

What can the coach do when individual players continue to do silly mistakes on the field that cost UAE the match?... to be honest, UAE drew with Syria with individual mistake of defender who allowed syria to score by wrong passing to syrian player (No Coach in the world could do anything for it). Again, mistake done by Goal Keeper in the match against Iran by leaving his line where Iranian forward easily scored so coach couldn't do anything on that. Similarly, silly mistake done in match against Iraq which cause lost in the concentration by lively players.

Coach needs to identify the players their individual mistakes and need to advise them to remain situation and surrounding aware, and always anticipate i.e., don't be reactive but be always ready and see all around before the ball comes to them.
