Being a diehard supporter of River Plate, it pains me to see Lucho Gonzalez leave us. But as we all know in this sport, it is a business, and players come and go. So, I ask all of you, to please be patient with Lucho. It might take him some time to adapt to your style of play. Remember he just finished his season with River on Sunday as well as the Copa Libertadores last week. I believe you'll enjoy watching him play just as I have when he played for River. I will coming into this board more often to check on his progress. Thanks!!

River had a very dissapointing season...

We will have to wait and see what this player can do for Porto...

I am not a Porto supporter, but I am always glad to see a quality player come to Portugal...hopefully he will work out...

We have big expectations on him, lets hope he can play what he is capable of. I am sure he will.

remains to be seen what our midfield will look like now: Can Lucho and Diego co-exist? What about Jorginho? Will Diego be the odd man out? Keep tuning...

lol....Lucho plays on the right and only occasionally drifts to the middle when attacking (has a powerful shot) ..so i def say diego/lucho can coexist .

Jorginho on the other hand will be the odd man out .

ps...i've seen lucho play alot in the last 4 months . :D
