Any thoughts on who is to win the 1st division this year? I can't see wigan being up there at the end of the season.
Without wanting to jinx things (touch wood), I'd say that Sheff Utd have a great chance. Were top of the table without having played that well so far. Last season we were 3rd and reached 2 cup semis, having more wins in all competitions than any other team in the league. Plus the cup wins against Prem teams (and all the magnificent comebacks) will give us confidence this year. We have strengthened the squad and the only big player to have left is Asaba. If Brown gets into the kind of form he had last season we'll be unstoppable, and we've Kabba still to come back from injury. Warnock has spent 3 years now building a squad, and I feel our time is at hand. For me, other sides to worry about: WHam, WBA, Forest, Norwich, S'land, maybe Ipswitch.
