    hey guys -

excellent article about sudbury's wleague team for next year ...

World Cup soccer players coming to Sudbury

i really wonder how they (more so than edmonton) will be able to draw any of the "elite" players, if any ... should be interesting!

oh...and i just thought i would point out that the article is a bit fetching ...

i mean, yes timko, neil, lang and co. play in the wleague, but unlike the aleague where teams in different divisons play each other, the wleague's sched is more regional...so there's not much chance that those players from the west coast will play in sudbury!

That maybe so but generally speaking, we thought the Charge were in deep trouble because of our Founders but we still got Lorrie Fair and wise recruiting can go a long way.

They will have a tough time drawing elite players. However, I think that they (the club) are more interested in drawing players from Northern Ontario and a sprinkle of players from other areas. I know there are a few players on the youth national teams that are from the Sudbury region.
