I know that a few of you liked the stats I posted from the LA game, so here are the Central Midfield Stats from the Colorado game:
I know I should go back and give you guys Griffiths stats...only if a few of ask for it !

Cullen : 26 Positive/Neutral Touches, 1 Long Ball Turnover (not a negative), 5 Turnovers, 4 takeaways (one win, three from bad passes) 1 missed slidetackle, 1 scoring opportunity (I'm sure we all remember it), 0 FC's, 0 FS

    Hernandez: 22 P/N T's, 3 Long Ball Turnovers(not a negative), 7 turnovers, 3 takeaways (one win, 2 from b.p) 0 slides, 5 scoring opps, 1 FC, 3 FS

    Valderrama - 55 PNT, 2 LB T, 6 TO, 1 TA, 0 SL, 4 Scor. Opp, 0 FC 0 FS

    Palacios 42 PNT, 1 LB T, 4 TO, 9 TA, 1 SL, 3 Scor opp, 3 FC + Yellow, 1 FS

    Chung 32 PNT 0 LB T, 4 TO, 1 TA, 0 SL, 4 SCor opp, 0 FC 1 FS

amazing how they tell the differences in style of play....between a team that relies on midfiled possession, versus the revs long ball, but the revs still need someone to go out and win the ball...

Thankyou. When your two defensive midfielders have more turnovers than take aways, success will be hard to come by. It also indicates that the ball-winning neccessity rests with the last line of defense which is too much to ask for 90" of play. Although the Rev's defense may be gelling, it would suprise me if this team can be consistent without either a remanned midfield or a different system of midfield play.

I, for one, would like to see Griffith's.
