Once again, my family had a great time at the Shake with the Quakes! Thanks Quakes Management...

Initially, we thought that it was going to be too crowded, but it ended up most people went for the free food. Kids had a great time doing the events and meeting the players.

A couple of things that we missed from last year:

    * Players playing with the kids in the events (understandable with this being post game)

    * Q&A with Wee Man, Frank, and Players.

Please look at adding these back next year. Lastly, we didn't see Wee Man around at all. Where were you hiding?

He was there. With April, Chief Assistant. He asked how I liked this year's SWTQ.

Word is they planned a Q&A with FY, but he had to leave immediately following the game. Something about his wife going into labor...

You have to question his commitment to the fans

I'm appreciative that the team does this. So please keep that in mind with what I have to say next. Cuz I do realize they don't have to do it at all.

First, I DID NOT like the fact that they did it after a game. Especially a Sunday day game. It made the day way too long. I was way too exhausted after the game to enjoy this event. I know I'm sensitive when it comes to this, but I can't take sitting in the sun for that long and then being out in it for longer to be at this event.

Second, next time the team needs to consider having more space for this. There was way too many people in way too small of place.

I didn't enjoy myself at all. As a matter of fact, I left after a short, short time. I pretty much ate and left. I was too tired, too hot, and too irritated by the lack of space with all those people.

That out of the way, I did like the fact that there was food this year. That added a nice touch. And the food was really good.

Anyway, I really feel kinda let down that I didn't enjoy this more. And I feel I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't after a game. It was just way too crowded and I was way to hot to stay out there any longer.

Glad you enjoyed the day (well the aftergame part of the day). This is a great event that allows our players and staff to say thank you for your support. We will do it in a larger area next year. SJS football asked us to move the event this year to the smaller area but we will move back next year.

We could not do the Q&A in such a small space but we will do it next year.

Frank's latest son was born kicking and healthy last night and Mother and son are doing well.

    Bring on Colorado and LA.

Thank you again for your support.

Agreed. Too small of an area. Also, we would have preferred it to be a separate day. Even though Frank couldn't be there, it would have been nice to have Q&A with Jonnie and some of the players (I.e. stadium and ownership issues).

Yeah, should have it on another day besides a game day. I overheard some of the volunteers talking that they had been at Spartan since 9am! I had fun. I would have had more fun if I was nine years old, but it was better than nothing! How much did you pay that magician...hopefully she volunteered her time!

Just wanted to say thanks to the quakes and their management, it's really nice of them to do this for the fans. The food was great...loved the fruit salad! The only thing that sucked was it was too hot, and we didn't get the win. This was the first year I went to this event so I don't know how it was the years prior, it was pretty fun though!
Congrats to Frank on his new baby boy!

My son celebrated his 9th BD with several friends from his soccer team at the game and absolutely had a blast at SWTQ getting autographs, having their pictures taken etc. I asked the magician where she was when the team needed some magic on the field during the game. She replied she wasn't paid enough! Thanks to the Quakes for putting on the event. Special thanks to the Wee man and April for making it magical for my son on his 9th BD.

Have to agree with most that the day was TOO LONG!

Landon was in a pissy mood when I got to the front of the line.. I wasn't happy that they lost- but could he spare a smile for me?

Saw his girl friend "Bianca" from Rock Me Baby... She stared at me kinda funny... I thought we were going to brawl...

Glad that Brian was there.. He looked good.. Leg healing nicely..

Eddie Robinson was as nice as could be.. He is my new fav player.. He said 2 weeks to play time!
