In the MLSNet writeup to Garber's Roundtable in Columbus, at the end of the article, Garber talks about foreign clubs making reserve academies in the USA and that talent going overseas and that MLS is now allowing teams to set up academies and retain the rights of those players. Did I miss the announcement on this? If it says what I think it says, it has some pretty significant implications for the superdraft (ie: sign Fredua Adu to your reserve academy and you've got the rights to him--no-one can draft him?).
