Ricardo's been called-up by Bruce for Wednesday's qualifier against Jamaica. Not bad for a guy starting the season slowly off the bench after pre-season surgery and becoming one of the few Metro bright spots in the last 1/4 of the season. I'm still disapointed that the experiment with him starting at right fullback early in the year did not work out.
He did come on strong at the end and I think he was just finally getting stong from his pre-season hernia injury or whatever he had at the beginning. The end showed the real "RIco" . Would be nice if he could shoot a little better and cross a little bit more accurately but he is still only 21.
