Immediate impact in a decidedly weird match. Agree that he should have started 2nd half. BvB became much more dangerous after he came in.
Such a sh*t coach. Even last season he did this type of crap. Why not come in really aggressive trying to score one more to put PSG away? Giving up 2 in the first half and then not subbing in anyone until the 70th minute is bizarre
Really feel like Sancho and Haaland let them down offensively in this game. Have to say, Reyna looked better than Sancho in his time on the field. Sancho just seems a step slower both in body and mind. Tough loss to take as Dortmund had the majority of the possession and chances in the 2nd half.
"And BVB opted for an American teen, with Reyna coming on for his second career UCL appearance. His first appearance produced an assist against PSG. This one did not yield a marker, but Reyna impressed again with smart dribbling and fine distribution (92 percent passing, 1/1 dribbles, 2/2 duels, one tackle)." https://soccer.nbcsports.com/2020/0...gue-borussia-dortmund-neymar-di-maria-bernat/
I didn't see the whole game but Sancho looked hopeless. Gio looked very good but coming in at 70' he had to be wary of taking chances. His cross/pass into the box was the best one of the day.
yea I'm kinda just biased in favor of my guy Zagadou, hakimi is probably a very good player to be playing at bvb at his age and no bvb player covered themselves in glory out there. reyna had one really awful 2nd touch I think about with 5 minutes left for his part. But overall he was dangerous he plays quick passing as well as any American I've ever seen he puts it right on the foot off minimal space too. and also, he knows he's good. you can tell it today he was looking to boss a bit, just incredible at his age and relative position.
