Man, once Palace are mathematically safe they are the easiest 3 points for opposition. They down tools so predictably every year at the exact same time.

Okay that was slick by Havertz and had Pulisic been running hard from the start he'd have had a tap-in.

Havertz nice skill and shot creates a poaching opportunity - CP one step later to it than the defender.

The key to his turnaround was losing that beard.

You never know where that ball's going to go on a save like that. Could have come right to his feet, just didn't

Great header off a free kick by Zouma, 3-0, and the drama now is whether Tuchel thinks he should sub CP off at half or at minute 60 for hamstring defense.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Pulisic of at half time. Gotta rest the hamstrings for the champions league.

Was thinking the same thing. He's been less involved last 10 min

Would like to see him go 70 mins or so here then come off. Needs to show he can go for longer.

He'll be an attacking sub -- if needed -- so I think he goes 90 today. Mount, Jorgi and Havertz are more likely to be subbed because they're more likely to start the CL game.

I see resting Mount, but Jorginho? He hasn't broken into a brisk walk yet.

If it was me I take him off 65-70 and see how he is tomorrow. If he is good then he is ready for another crack at 90, and Porto midweek being up 2 away goals in the tie and having 5 subs is a good time.

I have always thought Puli can play this role and he is showing he is up for it. I know he faded but the entire CFC faded knowing they are up 3-0.

That's true, they might be looking to rest Puli against Porto given they are up 2 already.

I would not let Pulisic go 90 minutes even if the plan was to rest up against Porto. Not when they are up 3-0.

I was saying it was good time to start him since if he can't go 90, then it is best to find out when you have 5 subs. I think today there is a max minute they want him off since he hasn't gone a true full nimiety in a good while. It used to be a thing after injury, for a couple of run outs, a non full game start and then a full game start.

He's still making a lot of runs. But the focus right now is CHO and Mount who have not been able to pick anyone out in a while.

Not sure an exhibition game is the same as an EPL game, but YMMV.
