Hello everyone, I was thinking about the ranking of players with most finals played in international tournaments in their career (including World Cup, Copa America/Euro/ Gold Cup/ AFC Cup/CAN/OFC Cup and additionnally Confederations Cup). I saw that Cafu played 7 finals (WC 94, 98, 02, Copa 91, 97, 99 Confed Cup 97). I don't know if there are some other players in CONCACAF, Asia or in OFC with as many finals as Cafu.. or if he is the player with the most finals played in career in international tournaments. Landon Donovan played in Finals of Gold Cups 2002, 2005, 2007, 2011, and 2013, and Confederations Cup 2009 when USA used different players in the Confederations Cup and Gold Cup. That's six. You could check Mexican Rafel Marquez.
I checked it and Rafa Marquez played 5 finals with 3 victories (+1 one final and victory with CONCACAF Cup 2015 but it was to determine the representative of CONCACAF for Confed Cup 2017 in reality so..)
