    And to begin, an homenage to Artística, that won the 2nd Division 2004/05;
    Madeira SAD, that won the Liga Portuguesa de Andebol, caoched by the great Alexander Donner, that will coach Benfica next year;

    And a word of congratulations for Sporting, that won the Divisão de Elite, but dont have a Pavillion near the new Alvalade XXI!!!

    Another question: how many players on this Championship team are from Avanca or came from their youth movement?

    The attendance of this year and the years before was almost the same: about 300 people at Saturday night, but now at 18:30... Sometimes RVR makes the realto of the game. Do you listen to RVR On-line?

    From Avanca, I must Check out. Wait a minute, I'll ask to a people that knows about that than me!

    300 people is not bad, in my time if we could convince 100 people to watch our games would be considered a Great crowd. :eek:

    This is avaiable in www.artisticaavanca.com, the new website of Artistica, that my brother and his friends are developing:

    José Cardão (GK): A Veteran, also juvenil and junior GK coach. I teach a lot of things to my Brother, Pedro Alves, and Arménio, that is sobrinho of Arménio, the GK of Beira-Mar and FC POrto in the 70's

    José Diogo Costa, Son of Jose Costa, the president; He plays Left lateral;

    Carlos Costa, I think he is from S. João da Madeira; good player, Left lateral;

    Agostinho Pinto (Pivot)

    João Ferreira (Right Ponta)

    João Dias (Left Ponta)

    Leandro Couceiro (Pivot): played in Estarreja and Alavarium,a nd his a 2 metres quality player!!! No one can make a goa mif he is defending! The leader on defending, not so good in attacking.

    João Vilar (júnior): Central. This is one of Estarreja player, that came to Avanca because of the economical problems of EAC;

    António Moura (GK): Good GK, come from São Paio de Oleiros or Gaia, I dont know well. He is handball professional.

    Ricardo Antunes (Central)

    José Bago (universal)

    Pedro Pinto (lateral direito)

    João Santos "Badocha" (GK), Left Atlética de avanca (Futebol) to play in Artistica (Handball), very good in those 2 sports, but without chances in the senior football team...

    Alexandre Rodrigues (ponta direita)

    Tiago Vital (One of the greatest players of the juniors, a few years ago. Now he work and dont have chances to train with the team)

    Marco Ferreira (júnior) (From Estarreja, will be a great player in the future!!!!!

    Paulo Silva, that's me Frank... my job though wasn't to score. I opened the spaces and found a way to dish out the ball to Fernando Santos and Paulo Gomes to score. I was the "organizador" de jogo so my primary job wasn't to score (although I found the net often :rolleyes: ). We had a good team back then here in the Ironbound.

    But in your time you played in the rain, at the Campo da Cooperativa. Nowadays, they play in a modern pavillion, with swiming pool and gymnasium!

    And nobody pay to see the team... the tickets are for free... And we dont have nothing to do at that hour. Parents will bring and left their kids, see the games, and bring more friends...

    I recognize Tiago Vital (has a couple of brothers, right? one of the them is Ze Claudio I think)... I had also heard about the sobrinho of Armenio last summer when I was there in Portugal. So not many players from Avanca, I guess!
