Currently 2-2 as Petke scored in the dying seconds of the second half.

We don't deserve to go to the playoffs.

Unbelievable finish to one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen (both ways too).

Congrats to Ray Hudson and DC United...back in the playoffs!!!

I hope we're all honest enough to admit that Hristo's penalty kick resulted from a dive that would have made Carlos Ruiz blush.

You know, I had the same reaction when Petke scored but then I remembered: OT. This thing is far from over.

I didn't see it -- but it sounds like the Crew penalty was shaky as well. I didn't see that either, though--any thoughts?

This has to be bar none the sh!ttiest reffed game I've seen in quite some time. He'll call a small foul, miss the big ones, and then call off advantage at will. How do we keep getting such pieces of trash to ref our games?

Not shakey. It was a clear foul, Keeper missed the ball and pretty much speared West. It wasn't intentional but it was still a PK.

It's official. The ref is off his f'ing rocker. Eski just got carded twice in under a minute on questionable card calls.

If Ray can get through this game, I have no more questions about his health.

Ivanov slowed down his own breakaway. Most ironical thing I've seen in a while.

This was easily the most exciting game I've seen this season. I mean good god, could you get anymore dramatic then this? Referee was abysmal. He was handing out cards for fun. That last foul on Kovalenko should've been a red. Both legs locked Dema's from behind. It was just wreckless. But oh man, what a game and what a finish.

Any other team and this would have been a 2-2 tie. The Crew are the team best suited for the last gasp pump high balls into the box to get a goal strategy.

Thanks to Mr. McHead. What a fun game.

(I'm glad I can get joy from MLS somewhere)

Jeezus shite. Maybe we'll go to the playoffs, maybe not, but if we can't hold the worst team in the east goalless for a single ten-minute overtime with the post-season on the line, then we dont really deserve to be in the post-season.

    1) I don't want to see Esky on the field again this season for DC - although we'd have to make the playoffs for that to happen. A stupid yellow for intentional handball, then an EVEN DUMBER ONE for sliding in to tackle a Crew player 90 yards from goal? You stupid *#*#*#*#. I hope we trade him to the Metros for a *#*#*#*#ing Carnegie Deli sandwich.

    2) How does McBride - you know, the best striker on Columbus - get open, IN OVERTIME, when all you need to do is keep the Crew off the board for two more *#*#*#*#ing minutes?

    3) We suck. We flat out suck. We scored today twice - once on a dive by a despicable player, and once while throwing everyone forward on a team playing six forwards at the time. We have no creativity, no spark, no energy.

    GOD DAMNIT.

A lot of what happened in this game points to improvements needed in the MLS...get rid of stupid overtime and get some officials who have a clue.
