How much would it cost to rent a bus to Chicago if we filled it with 40 revs fans? How long would it take to get there.... and would there be enough interest?
fyi Foxboro to Chicago: Total Distance: 980.71 miles Total Estimated Time: 14 hours, 54 minutes Courtesy of mapquest.com. Your mileage may vary.... (particularly by bus!) Brian
As someone who's taken a bus trip from Chicago to Boston and back... you don't want any part of it. It's a freakin' nightmare. Take the train instead.
I was about to say that it would take alot longer then 14 hours. Its more like 16 hours if you are driving. It took my about 12 hours to columbus and that was going at a good speed (65+). I had looked up how long it would take with a bus and it was 20 hours. So Im assuming its going to be a 2 day trip on a bus, not exactly fun. A plane is good enough.
Just for yucks, I priced manchester to midway on southwest. About $180 RT, but requires an overnight stay (dictated by the time of the match, really) with limited choice of departure times. Brian

That is correct, $181. The prices unfortunately might go up by the time we can start booking as we won't know till Sunday night, and that's less than a week till the flight. I'd also seriously suggest priceline to those of you going. Monty
The GREAT thing about Southwest is that all the fares are fully refundable (for credit). Book now online and you can cancel/change later if you need to. Use the credit for a future trip over the next couple of years. I do this all the time, the website is great and it's really easy to book, cancel, use your credit, etc.
