Woman in the middle needs to pull out some cards before Kiwis break Formiga's leg

Man the womens goalkeeping is bad.

It's like they're so short they can't even reach the bar by jumping.

New Zealand's keeper isn't the norm.

Even a better netminder wouldn't have stopped it, though. That was a missle.

Unlike Germany, Brazil aren't even playing.

They're treating this like a training session.

It'd be fun if they kept on like this and then New Zeeland scores on a corner or something in the last minutes.

New Zealand are creating some chances, for sure.

Brazil have settled after a shaky first half.

I was switching between this and the Ghana/Aus. game. But from what I saw of this one, New Zealand never had the ball.

I didn't watch the second half but looked like Brazil sort of forgot that they could pass and/or run off each other--a lot of individual play. Maybe they just needed to play themselves out of that...

individual play will get you past a weaker team...

but when brasil runs up against good sides, the team aspect will be far more important...

their overall lack of playing together against good competition, that's not good...

and when things go wrong, or they think things are going wrong, read the tref is against them, they do revert to the worst side of gamesmanship..

i would NOT be surprised if denamrk beats them on the last match of group play.....

brasil and china would be a war, and i do wonder if they could bounce back after such a big time match??
