Issue #19 of The Stars and Beyond, the Unofficial Fanzine of MetroStars Supporters, is now available. This special Cup Final edition (as well as back issues) will be on sale Wednesday afternoon at the Nathan Hale's pregame gig and in Lot 16A before the match. At 24 pages, it's not our biggest, but may damn well be our best, featuring Cup stats, match analysis, supporter editorials, the 1991 Cup Final, a Brief Guide to Metro in the Open Cup, a look at esteemed guests Chicago, the legend of the Court Tavern and more. After a two year hiatus, TSAB is back, for one thin dollar. First, Last and Always... Come On, Metro!
I don't know what's more shocking, the Metros in the USOC final or the return of TSAB. Next thing you will tell me is www.mtbftr.com will be updated and that Clinton is no longer the president. Do you take paypal?

Thanks to everyone who bought our Cup Final edition. Nathan Hale's was fabulous, the Spunk Lads rocked balls and the fanzine went over huge. Hats off, too, to everyone who bought at the match; 101 hasn't been that well inhabited in a very long time. There are precious few copies left, which may be available at Saturday night's match. So as the saying goes...having crashed out of the Cup, Metro can now focus on the League. Whatever.

Just got my copy in the mail this afternoon and read it cover to cover. Great stuff from all involved - the Metro history on the inside back cover is worth the dollar alone. If you didn't get a copy on Wednesday, snap one up tonight.
