Looks like Fulham are still looking for another striker. http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/3733666
Try to pick out the insulting line in this text! (And Dangerfield says, "I don't get no respect.....no respect at all...) http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.asp?hlid=292457&CPID=8&CLID=&lid=2&title=Coleman's+a+Hartson+fan&channel=football_home
Man City is talking about grabbing "the unsettled Cole," and with 10 m pounds in SWP money jingling in their pockets, the papers here seem to think it's a done deal, so they'd better be looking for another striker. I love McB, if prem survival is a real question, and it is, wouldn't you want him to have as much help carrying the scoring burden as is possible?
Oh yeah, I have no problem w/that. I just found the line "bereft a striker w/experience" a bit twisted. I mean, they wouldn't write this about other Premiership clubs, and McBride's resume is not exactly chopped liver.
The good news for McBride: Andy Cole is on his way to Thailand to join Manchester City. The bad news for McBride: SkySports is reporting that Fulham is looking to pay 3 million pounds to get a striker from La Liga. I wish I could find the link to say who it was and for what team he plays (but I just saw it on the television and not in writing).
Cookie mentioned about wanting to get Saha back on loan but not willing to cough up his full salary. So, if ManU wants Luis off the roster, they would have to pick up a portion of his $8M wage.
