    Hey Everyone,

I finally decided to start posting after reading the board for a while. I'm a dual citizen of the United States and Ireland, so I've always cheered for both teams. While I'm disappointed that that Ireland was unable to qualify this year, I think the future is really bright for 2010 and hope to see us make some serious strides. Anyway, I look forward to chatting with everyone. Thanks.

    Erin Go Braugh!!

Well, you should want your jobs, your economy is one of the best in Europe and we have inflation. Well take them, but keep your women.

Sorry mate but The popular phrases "Erin go Bragh" or "Erin go Braugh" mean Ireland forever. It's the anglicised version of the Gaelic phrase which would be known to some Americans. The correct spelling is "Éireann go Brách".

From what I understand, Éire is not anglicanized, but it is somewhat a bad term ??

Not so much a bad term..but the form of the word changes according to how it is used we get "Erin go Bragh" from the old Civil war battle flag well the fellas who made that, most if not all, english was a second language as most of those early immigrant Irish were from the Gaeltacht region...
