Things are not looking good for La Seleccion and Lavolpes "Process" has not gotten any desired results. I think its time to replace Lavolpe, just not with Hugol who has yet to win anything and is still very inexperienced as far as Tactics go. Its time to bring on Bianchi. Other than that Lapuente !??! I dont really any good alternatives out there..

Its going to be a long WCQ :(

i was never in favor of Lavolpe. I personally would like to see Lapuente back.

For all the crap they say about Lapuente that he is defensive minded and stubborn and whatever, his teams scored goals.

Before Lavolpe took over, people thought that Lavolpe's team was going to be a scoring machine. Well, Lavolpe has shown nothing. I dont even see the team organizing itslef to score goals.

I could understand Mexico having a ton of opportunities, and not finalizing.

But we are not even getting a lot of opportunities and thats because his tactics are phucking wierd.

How do you screw up on set pieces? I can understand if the players did not hit the ball right, but even when they do, they are out of position.

as i watched TV Azteca's show and then tuning to Televisa's show, both came out to the conclusion that Mexico needs to have a backbone. A set of players (5-6) that are there and the other positions available you examine players.

For the first time, I actually agreed to an extent to what Jose Mamom Jr had to say.. he said how could he judge the team when he doesnt even have a team. Until he says, Look here is my team now judge me.

But, I do blame the FMF. I blame them for 3 things. I blame them for hiring Lavolpe. I blame them for procrastinating 6-8 months and not hiring a coach. We didnt have a coach in 6-8 months. Those 6-8 months could have been real useful. Thats when the "process" should have started? I blame them for the fire they ignited with Lavolpe/Hugo. I know this a a problem that goes way back, but the way they went about it was messed up.

Lavolpe is bringing this upon himself. He says he wants to try knew people. Chato, Mario, Daniel, Zepeda, Carmona, Valdez, Blanco, Borgeti, Pardo, Davino, etc? When the press ask him, why bring in those guys.. you have coached them before and you know what they can do.. he gets pissed.

Hate to say it, but he should have called the Galindos, Arces, etc back in Feb, March. Not now. He should have put in the backbone during the gold cup and try out new players alongside the back bone.

But it seems that Lavolpe is wiping his azz then taking a crap.

Actually im against what Faitelson and Jose Ramon said. They made it up like Uruguay was freaking Germany or something. They played well but it was the freaking sub23 and even their A team shouldn´t walkthru us if we have our A squad. Paraguay creamed them 4-1. They are a good team but far from France and the rest and when the fat guy said that Mexico used to be better than Uruguay, they all shrieked and stuff. Well he was right Mexico used to be better than Uruguay.

The problem is not that he has called the people you mentioned is that he doesn´t call the one who did good but calls a lot who have sucked. No Blanco, Luna but chances everytime for Valdez.

As for the Arce´s and Galindo´s, he has called the one´s that haven´t shown and don´t deserve it. Arce hasn´t done squat since he joined Atlante.
Iñiguez is tearing the league, yet he doesn´t get a call.

Lavolpe wan´t the players he wants at whatever the cost. Osorno, Jp Rodriguez, Valdez, Mendez, etc. They either shown that they suck or that they are not up to par. Yet he calls them all the time and they suck all the time and it cost them and then he gets pissed off and blames the lack of players etc, etc.

It´s not the lack of players but the bad picks he has done. As I said before, no goal yet Mora (7), Iñiguez (6) and Altamirano (3). And he calls Bofo (0), Osorno (1) and Rubirosa (0). Im not saying the one I´ve mentioned are going to do great but those are the one who you have to give the chance in a friendly against the sub23 and not players you already have given the chance and didn´t even deserve the shot now.

Actually im against what Faitelson and Jose Ramon said. They made it up like Uruguay was freaking Germany or something.

Jose Mamon is just as much condescending as his father and even more arrogant. This guy I think is ashamed of being Mexican because he will be the first in line to lick the shoes of those teams you mentioned.

But his line of reasoning was good in the sense that we dont know who the real Mexican team is (which is a bit disturbing). But he did contradict himself when he said that. Because of what he stated earlier.

Well, TV Azteca commentators tend to suffer from group think. So when a new idea comes up or different point of view is presented, the one that is thinking outside the box (regardless if he is right or wrong), the rest of the group will jump on that guy. That is what you saw today, because the unibrow was right. We are better than them.

TV Azteca's crew's line of thinking was, they have more Eurobased players than we do so they have to be better. But statistics the last couple of years have been on our side whether it be A, B, or C team.

If thier line of reasoning were to be applied, then Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada would be infinitely better than us becaus they have more Eurobased clubs.

But for example, how do you explain a team like Chile. They had Salas, Zamorano, Estay, etc all in thier prime, and still Mexico dominated them. As a collective team, we were and have been superior than that team. Sure, if you want to do an analysis and compare player to player, position to position, their arguement and thier line of reasoning may be valid, but its not in this case.

The problem is not that he has called the people you mentioned is that he doesn´t call the one who did good but calls a lot who have sucked. No Blanco, Luna but chances everytime for Valdez.

I would be a hipocrit to criticize him because he calls up the players he knows and is familiar with. All coaches do.. Lapuente, Mejia Baron, Bora, Meza, Aguirre. But, if that amiguismo does not work out, then its time to go with another guy. And that has been his problem as you stated.

And Lavolpe is digging his own grave. What he says and what he said out to do and what he has done are completely different and that is infuriating.

Luis Garcia is the voice or reason some of the time and is a lot of times right especially with Lavolpe and Mexico. Jose Ramon is always blaming everyone and his fear was shown last night, when he said that America was going for the ref federation and even NT coach. He´s scared a Televisa friendly coach will be picked.

Uruguay have great players like Recoba and stuff but so does Wales with Giggs and Australia with Kewell, etc. They think that they know about euro football but they then start praising Forlan and all those players, when Forlan is always getting blame about missing sitters. That stuff about euro buying players who are good are BS. A bunch of Uruguayans went to europe and suck or aren´t as good as many mexicans. Mexico has been the only side to go to the 2nd round in the last 3 cups in America besides Brazil and Uruguay has only gone to 1 WC and choke and its Mexico who suck.

As for Lavolpe, his interview in Azteca was super stupid, now its the hugo thing fault and its pressuring the players. He said that people just want the win and don´t pay attention to the process. But as Luis Garcia said, there is no process, what they showed today was a lack of cohesion in every way. It was pathetic. People don´t necesarily want a win but for the team to play well and that Mexican team was a disgrace. As it was a disgrace for those crap fans to do the disgusting thing they did. I want everyone to know that there has never been a FMF game where every freaking player was thrown stuff from the fans.

Everyone is expecting the Atlas/Toluca style of play.

Not calling Blanco and Luna is understandable. Both of these player showed a lack of profesionalism during their call ups and Lavolpe had to prove to the team he was in charge. As for Tavo Valdez he actually was one of the best players during the Gold Cup. However his rercent performances have left much to be desired.

I feel Emilio Mora is a player that trult deserves a call up. Last season he was running the offense for Chivas and currently at Veracruz he has scored four goals in two games.. And somehow J P Rodriguez still gets called up..

The only player the he didnt call back up was Zepeda. I knew that he wasnt going to get another shot at the Nat team during the match against Jamaica.

no it wont. Mexico is still the giant of concacaf. Uruguay, Peru (and other south american teams mexico has lost to) are still tougher than costa rica, honduras and the rest of the concacaf teams (except USA probably). Mexico won't have any problems even more so knowing they will play in Azteca and not in the USA.

just don't confuse mexico having a hard time with south american teams meaning they will have the same problems with concacaf teams come qualifying.

As they were saying, with Blanco in Argentina Mexico would have looked a lot better and the youngsters may have learned a lot more. As for Lavolpe showing who is boss, may be someone has to show him who is boss and that he can´t keep calling the players that have failed and tryng to make Atlas in the senior team. Players that have failed over and over will keep failing. Valdez has played badly in a lot of games. To me the only great game was against Brazil and in games like Costa Rica he wasn´t so great as some people said. And with Pachuca he has been normal. And he is no youngster.

I feel Emilio Mora is a player that trult deserves a call up. Last season he was running the offense for Chivas and currently at Veracruz he has scored four goals in two games.. And somehow J P Rodriguez still gets called up..

Mora has 7 goals more than any mexican and tied with Borguetti and Blanco in the lead of more goals by a Mexican. Yet the press is not asking for them. Or Iñiguez. They are too busing bitching about how Uruguay is far from Mexico because of the WC in 1950 and stupid stuff like that.

In many ways they are the Giants but they must prove it in the field which lately they have not been able to do.

No need for the footy lesson this is the Mexie board. We aint delusional, we dont think any of our players is Maradona and when know how to realistically measure our opponents.

Mexico won't have any problems even more so knowing they will play in Azteca and not in the USA.

Lavolpe allready proved he can win at Azteca (Gold Cup) My concern is playing away games. First round WCQ in the TFC can be very misleading.

just don't confuse mexico having a hard time with south american teams meaning they will have the same problems with concacaf teams come qualifying.

It is not that we lost it is how we lost. The past two games have just been unacceptable. Lavolpe has had the team long enough to be playing poor games.
