What Kazlauskas needs is pace. There's a reason he got such a short look from the U20 team, has gotten no look from the U23 team and hasn't played a first team game for an average team in Holland: He's slow. Given that getting faster doesn't usually happen to adults, what he needs to do is get himself to a club where he can play regularly where the level of pace more suits him. From there, he can work on reading the game faster to make up for his physical shortcomings. I strongly suggest he consider coming home to Milwaukee this spring and spending a season with his hometown team in the A-League. If he has a good season there, he can go on trial somewhere in Europe or, if he's willing to take the salary, play in MLS.
