Town up, 2-0. Booth in the 41st minute. Checking around the HT site, this is a very young and depleted Town side due to injury and suspension. This is also JT's first action since the very beginning of the season. He is finely fit. Who knows, a second half sub sounds plausible ... last 20 minutes to add some experience to the side.
22 minutes left, not too many JT mentions so far. The only real mention was JT muffing a pass, I would imagine the rust is going to show for a bit.
JT with an excellent run, ball was not played to him, announcers lament that JT would have been 1 v 1 with keeper had he gotten the ball.
JT feeds a ball to Worthington who blasts from distance but collected by keeper. Announcers praise JT's vision.
JT rightfooted cross ... Stead header just flashes by the left hand post. SO much for rust. JT is playing on the left side apparently.
Final, Town beat top of the table Hull, 3-1. JT got a good 30 minute run out and sounded like he did well. If he just stays healthy, he can play a part in Town's efforts to get back to the Second Division.
I think they are out of adminsitration now. I will have to check on that one. Yep, out of administration, an article from late August.
National Team I know I am jumping the gun here, but I would love to see Thorington with the Nats again. He is a dynamic midfielder up that provides speed and quality crosses from the wing. With him on the right side and Lewis/Beasley on the left we have a variety of attacking options.
i'm with you doneshufflin, but he's gonna have to get several matches in a string before BA calls him in
