The announcers on ESPN mentioned a nice article on Joe c. and his family in Sports Illustrated. Has anyone seen it?

Saw it this morning. 8/26 issue I believe (the Yankees are on the cover).

I guess they profiled Joe because his brother plays a "major" American sport (all sarcasm intended).

    It's good read...

Nothing really outstanding about it. It seemed to be more about the brothers together rather than Joes accomplishments. It could have been about Jon Cannon and his brothers.

Cannons a great guy, but there is probably a dozen other players in the league who could have been a better story.

Quakes weekly update says it's only in issues sent to subscribers. It's not in the newsstand editions...

    (certain qualifications after 3-0 loss...)

    "... twice in one half..."

    "... in Spartan Stadium..."

" ... with the full first team defense in front of him..."

Remind me, I'll bring it to the next game/tailgate.

The only reason I'm a subscriber is cause I fell prey to the MLS Visa Get-A-Free-T-Shirt deal at Spartan. They automatically start sending you SI. Sleazemeisters.
