Anyone knows who will broadcast Italy vs. France in the US?

Can't seem to find the info on these boards and it looks like www.soccertv.com isn't being updated anymore. Thanks.

Hmmm, does Setanta not have it? I know they had all the other Euro 2008 qualifiers. Check their website, I'd think. (I'd check it too except I already have plans that weekend with my girlfriend.)

I think TV5 has the rights to our home games only.

Glad to hear it's on Setanta US though, and not on PPV.

Dish Network has a free preview of Setanta Sports on channel 406. I don't know when it ends, but it has been running for at least 2 weeks now.

Also, if you're willing to pay, you can get RAI International for $12.99 for the month.

If Setanta does not air it I will be watching a stream.

I just went through the soccertv site and I wasn't able to find those times. Maybe they dropped it for the denmark sweden game.

The setanta website didn't say they were showing the match.

I'm quite astonished because this match is sure going to be an intense one.

Although in all likelihood it'll be 0-0 :(

At least I have the USA-Brazil friendly.

It's located on this page, http://soccertv.com/france.cfm

They still have it listed. If I can't see it on the free preview of setanta on dishnetwork, then I'm going to see it in a bar. This is a must-see game!

Gol TV, TV5 and RAI seem to be confirmed for a 2:30 EDT live broadcast of the game.

Telemundo will have a tape-delayed broadcast in the evening.

Nothing on Setanta USA though (the scheduled 2:30 EDT live game on Setanta USA is Sweden-Denmark).

Here in Canada, it is on TV5 and GOL TV live, however TV5 appears to be about 45 seconds ahead of GOL TV.

FYI (sorry I'm a bit late).

I'm watching on TV5 right now in Denver.

TV5 shows away as well as home games. It's only when another network purchases exclusive North American rights that they cannot show games.

Anyone knows who the English announcers were for GolTV. Did I recognize a Geordie (Newcastle area) accent or what? :)

Indeed, the commentator I think was Ray Hudson, as he's popular with the U.S. I think (Gol TV is really intended for America). I think he coached an MLS team or something as well.

GOL TV Canada seem to have been running this match numerous times since the original broadcast as part of their Match Capsule 1 hour summary. Somehow, a game played between Italy and France in a 1 hour summary format, albeit with commentary over the original spanish commentary done in a studio in Toronto, qualifies as Can Con for Gol TV CANADA. To top it all off one of the commentators is from Wales (Paul James).

I read that Hudson is from Gateshead. Is that what a Geordie accent sounds like?! Ive been listening to him for a while now, and didnt know where it was from.
