I will potentially be going across the pond after Christmas and am very interested in making a trip to the Cottage. If I do end up going, I'd be able to see the game on Dec. 28th against Birmingham City, which I'd imagine wouldn't be the most difficult ticket in the world to get (that would probably be for their match 2 days before across London at Arsenal). I'm not a Club member as I'm a student and the 20 quid could go to many other things and so, to make this a more general post, how difficult is it to get tickets for a game (at or below face value)? Any suggestions as to how to go about getting tickets would be greatly appreciated!
I'm headed over on Thanksgiving weekend for the match with the Rovers... I just went online on the General onsale date and scored some great seats right near the goal in the Hammy end. The online ordering was easy and the booking fees were minimal in comparison to what we pay for Ticketmaster feees here in the states. If you want them below face, you could troll the fulhamfc.com message board, but they take some time to get to know you before they trust you... You might be better off just paying face online. My $0.02...
I would agree with the land shark and say that you are better off getting your tickets online. Its fast, easy and reliable. I did it last year and it worked out fine... Just keep watching the official web site, they announce when tickets go on sale to the general public. Enjoy!
Ok, So my dad's going to London this spring. He was distraught that tickets to Chelsea and Arsenal were running well over $300 apiece. I tell him to go to the Cottage, but now i can't find tickets on the website. Do i have to wait until a month or so before the game to buy tickets when they go on sale to the general public? I sorta wanted to get him tickets for Christmas. I was also thinking of getting QPR or Palace tickets cause they're cheap and available. I miss walking up to the gate on game day and buying a ticket for 9 quid

He doesn't know anything about the EPL. He just wants to see an EPL match. I'm trying to convince him to go to a Fulham game. He'll be there in April and i was hoping for Man City Tickets on the 16th.
I paid the 20 quid for FFC membership and scored two tickets to the ManUtd match that way. I used the online system right when the tickets went on sale to members and the only seats available were in the Hammy end (I'm still waiting to see if any will ever be made available to the public as I would like to buy a couple more). The demand for the match you are wanting will be much less so there should be tickets available to the general public online, as there were for the Blackburn match. Keep checking the FFC site for the dates.

I ultimately made the decision to suck it up (have an internship next semester so some money will be coming in) and pay the 20 quid to become an FFC member...Still not sure if I'll be able to get to the game or not, but if so (and as future reference for everyone else), is there anything not to be missed near the ground (ie place to grab some food, pubs, etc)? I'm sort of a new Fulham fan, I love that they are really the only team in the Premiership, or the Championship for that matter, that offer their game audio online for free. It would truly be sad if they decide to go to the pay services like everyone else!
Well that's one of the more interesting reasons i've heard for someone becoming a Fulham fan, but I agree, they're one of the most fan friendly teams out there. If you do end up going, I doubt you'll have a difficult time finding a place around the cottage to eat or grab a few pints before the game. Just follow the large crowds from the Tube.
