FSW to become all-soccer!?!

    I thought I read somewhere that Fox Sports World will be changing to an all-soccer format sometime early in '05? Was I dreaming?
    Sorry if this is a repeat of another thread, but I looked first and couldn't find it anywhere else.

    Out: FOX Sports World, In: FOX Soccer Channel?

    Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation has filed trademark applications 78444142 and 78485747 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to register the names "FOX Soccer Channel" and "The Soccer Channel".

    Multiple sources indicate that FOX is planning to convert FOX Sports World (US) into an all-soccer channel sometime in the first quarter of 2005.

    Me too, but the way I understand it FS would continue to offer some form of a "world sports" channel in the same package with the soccer-only channel.

    I'd be happy to be able to get it on our gddoamn cable provider!
