Which club and their fans do you detest and why? Juve, Man Utd, Bayern Munich, Rangers, Ajax, or Real Madrid...please include which fans gloryhunting or not into your decision. Thanks.
I'd have to say every single one of those clubs attracts more than their fair share of "glory-seekers", with the possible exceptions of Ajax and (maybe) Rangers. I don't hate sports teams anymore. I guess I just grew out of that. I hate it when my team loses, but I don't hate teams. However, of those clubs you've listed, I feel ManU has the most irritating fans, followed closely by Real - although Real fans seem to crow when they win (which is a lot of course) and therefore have a legitimate reason, while ManU fans seem to crow no matter what. (disclaimer: I support Juventus and, to a lesser extent, Rangers, so naturally, I don't "detest" either one!)
I would have to say ManU as well. I guess it's a combination of the media and thier fans that I hate. I'm sick of hearing that ManU are the biggest and best club in the world. When in reality Liverpool have been the best English club throughout history and a host of european clubs have done better than ManU in europe.
ManU, When your the biggest club in the World that just means you have the biggest amount of phony, bandwagon jumping, johnny come lately, crap fans. Its more of a social trend, then an actual passionate following.
