i know a lot about crew jerseys. there is a practice/warmup jersey with a yellow top and white main front portion.

either that's a bad scan, a fake, or something i haven't seen before (ie: new)

but why would they get a new jersey at this point in the season??

most fake jerseys come from the phillippines and the asian rim. this comes from columbus but that still doesn't completely rule that out.

bad scan is probably the best possibility. but, if it was a bad scan, then the picture would be complete trash.

    Bill, you have any ideas??

You got me. Fogdog shows this version of the practice jersey:

but I don't think it's the current one. The one I see has more yellow, but still not at all like the one in the ebay pic.

And my good friends in the Far East don't do anything MLS, and even if they did, it would be strictly the current game-day version. (Although a couple guys are now offering the sleeveless Brazil two layer warmup - very cool).

(Speaking of which I just got a black Italy shirt, a long sleeved black and white Liverpool and a Celtic home for Lefty's birthday. All VERY nice, and I paid under $50 total including shipping. And which one of you drunks started yelling at him in the parking lot about being a "good Catholic boy" wearing the Celtic on Saturday? He was impressed that anybody would know that.)

That was lefty in the Celtic Jersey? I yelled something about protestants being better and something about Switzerland (since some swiss club knocked them out) but I don't think I called him a good Catholic boy. I may have though, I was enjoying the Boddingtons quite a bit.

I make it a rule to avoid loud, drunken Protestants.

I almost stopped, 'cause I figured nobody much there would even know what team it was, let alone their Religious affiliation, but we were running very late to meet some people, (Lefty played at Canton/McKinley at 1:00) which turned out to be a horrible drag, as they were mostly morons with tiny kids, including this two year old girl with a balloon which got Lefty into a complete rant about how in England (boy, one trip to Anfield and the kid's a Euro-footy-snob) they don't have "little fookin' girls with fookin balloons" hanging around.

He was still ranting when we got into the Stadium - "Look at all these fookin' little kids (he went to a match at Loftus Road and sat next to an old fat drunk and picked up some words his mother doesn't need to know about) and their fookin' stoopid looking parents. Get them the fook out of here" He was on a roll. Sounded like Eggy. Or me. :)

"Fookin idiots don't know fook about fookin soccer" Blah, blah, blah; I was laughing so hard a policeman followed us a little ways, sure that I was completely hammered.

Anyway, I'm sorry I didn't stop, and I will next time.

Actually I'm Half Catholic Half Protestant and don't care for sectarianism.

I prefer Celtic but actually like Hibs over all of em.

lefty has got to give us some credit. most of us even when drunk know enough about football to know about the catholic/protestant rivalry over in glasgow...
as far as being a loud drunk preotestant...i don't really consider myself protestant or catholic, but i probably was drunk, so your half right.

He started at left back, then at the half moved to center mid.
