if that's all, it's bizarre. if they're not receiving treatment, why wouldn't they be on the bench to support the team?
isn't the roster set at 18 for any given match, so the guys mentioned weren't even on the roster to play.... given this is a real tourney, and not friendlies, I suspect fifa has some rule about the extra guys not being on the bench... telefutura and unisvion always list the extra guys available to play....all 7 of them
This is correct. There are more than 18 players in the "Gold Cup player pool" but only 18 named to each gameday's roster. The only people allowed on the bench are the gameday players and the coaching staff -- they don't let just anyone in.
