You'll love some of this stuff...they cover a lot. Nice to see how the players feel. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2003/soccer/09/17/conrad.six/index.html "Chris Brown: No, the league has already decided that L.A. and New York will be in the final this year."
Funny stuff as usual from JC. The San Jose talk was open and frank. Moreso than I would have expected.
Jimmy rocks. Man, he'd make an awesome talk show guest - though I'm sure none of them will ever ask him. Hey, mebbe we could do a massive email attack of the Jimmy Kimmel show to have Jimmy Conrad on when he comes into town. They could hype it as, "Here to tell you about the league and sport you've never heard of . . ." Then again, Mebbe not.
This was 100 times the read that any of the trash MLSnet has been posting recently. I mean, this was just really open and honest. There were no agendas there. Cannon is pretty funny.
When they were talking about video games I was waiting for Brownie to say he was playing FIFA and making himself score a hat trick over and over again so he could always remember that one day. But yes, I agree, the only articles I really wait for are Conrads Corner and the TCS. Other than that, its all pretty boring stuff.
Actually, Chris Brown talking about video games just reminded me about Alex (unortodoxYank)'s story about playing FIFA on PS2 at a bestbuy, and someone behind him telling him to play the ball to Chris Brown. Alex was about to tell him exactly how much Chris Brown sucks when he turned and saw that it was in fact said sucky player. Funny stuff.
