I know that Chung has been out for several games with an injury, but I can't seem to find any specifics anywhere. Can anyone supply me with more info as to the type of injury, status in training, and when he is expected back?

Acording to the matchup section of coloradorapids.com:

    Doubtful: Mark Chung (L-Quad Strain)

I don't know what kind of time frame surrounds a "doubtful" listing, but I imagine it is in the weeks range.

He's up and running, I saw him doing pre-game warmup sprint routines on the field.

The last I read, he's pretty much out for Columbus, but could be ready for the next game at the Metrostars... although my guess is that if we do okay in Columbus with whatever whacked out lineup we come up with (and if Digi has a good game on the left if he plays) then they'll keep Chung at home and not risk using one of their few sub spots for him.

Chung's missed a lot of games, and midfield has to be the hardest position to return for in terms of conditioning. I'd bet that no matter what, there is an assumption that he can't run 90.

    Cheers,

I spoke to Chung Tues night in Boulder and he suggested 2-3 weeks. Who knows...
