I mean I am ok with Legends being good in the game but seriously they are all 90s !!!! They are better then everyone other then the top 5 players in the world. It makes 0 sense then all the English BS players that are rated super high !! Owen is in this game as a legend I am sure Beckham is in it too

Pues ahí miré y lo de Gary Neville y Sol Campbell si me parece una locura, el problema me parece que es que el Pibe solo fue importante en ligas irrelevantes (en la opinión de EA y mucha gente, me imagino) y para la selección Colombia, la MLS en la época en la que el jugó era practicamente amateur. En España no le fue bien y en Francia ganó un titulo y ya. Pibe tiene otros meritos pero lastimosamente creo que su carrera no fue exactamente la mas exitosa. El éxito siempre se mide por titulos y el no ganó un carajo.
Y los titulos individuales de sudamerica, muchas vece ganandole a maradona y cafu.............arbeloa y ese kramer son campeones del mundo....a veces eso tmabien es muy de suerte, para decir que el exito se mide por los titulos......yo creo que es por trascendencia
I don't know if this question was asked on this thread before , but I want to know what you guys think. If El Pibe today was still 23-26 yrs old would he be in any of the the top European teams? Such as Barcelona, arsenal, man united, Real Madrid, juventus, etc
La posición de 10 esta en extinción, solo eso, si un jugador con la capacidad creativa del pibe no juega mas atrás en la cancha simplemente no juega, el pibe no corría 100 metros en 11 segundos y por lo visto eso es lo único que importa en el fútbol actual.
Agree with Baal. For me and for the rest of the Colombians and also football fans in the world he will always be one of the best in the history and he doesn't need to play for Barca. His passing skills, his ball control and the way that he was managed the team's game is something that many elite players don't have also today, but Baal said it right: If you don't run on the field, if you don't do defense, that you will probably won't play. Back then this was football. the rest of the players covered for him because as a coach you cannot pass on Pibe even if he doesn't run. Today it wouldn't do for him even to play in average teams like Montpellier & Valladolid.
He would have a career much like Riquelme. Prob go to a big Argie or Brazilian team and win a crap load of titles but yea him not running, scoring much, defending or having free kicking ability would make it really hard for him to go to Europe.
Well, Pibe did not do those things because he didn't need to. I am sure he could/would adjust at least a little to today's game. If guys like Pirlo and Xavi are considered superstars this late in their careers, I am sure a young Pibe could make it as well. It is a different game. Back then defenders defended and attacking players attacked. Different game now, but I think Pibe's quality would still show and he could make an impact.
