Are we capable? Can we break the monopoly? Was 2005 a one-off? I think with confidence and additions we can compete at a high level on a regular basis. If we sign Pienaar and Fernandes permanently then it shows ambition. But that won't solve it. More signings are paramount. Thoughts?
Probably need 3-4 players of real quality. We don't necessarily have to buy them either...plenty on Bosmans, including Sebastian Kehl which would be a terrific signing and help bridge the gap that could be left by Carsley's age.

that's wage bills, i was trying to think who arsenal bought that was so much. don't know how much they are paying the "kids", but it can't be that much, thatwas mostly henry,cole, ljundgurg, maybybe hleb and pires, but i would suspect the first 3 to be the big earners, that was also the year they got to the champions league final against barcelona, so i guess you could say money well spent. chelsea, will keep spending until, the rich guy sells the club, don't see them ever winning anything without Mourinho(I am a lover of the Portugese magician), save for the carling cup this year apparently. no more leagues, league cups, or european cups(not that they had won one before, though I could be wrong. the 1800s are a little foggy). so that leaves united, we all know liverpool is nothing. united has the chance for the treble I'm sorry to say this year. Asenal, will battle them for everything, I just see United as the better team, though I hate them with a passion.
