In other news, Fire Fans For Andrulis (formerly 4F: Fire Fans For Fitz) have succeeded in their quest: http://www.mlsnet.com/content/03/clb1113andrulis.html
Not that I have a problem with it, but shouldn't news about Dallas/Columbus be on the Dallas/Columbus or MLS boards?
Well, you could spin it as "Dallas tried to be like us by moving to a turf field in the suburbs, but screwed it up," as well as "the Crew will suck again next year, which is good for us." See? All Fire-related. Later, COZ
Yes, the MDSC's latest venture Operation Columbustion was a success. Thanks for noticing. Note, we are not claiming respoinsibilty for the Dallas incident. Some of our top ranking operatives narrowly escaped a group of bailbondsmen in our last foray to Texas, shortly before the opening of the 2003 season. Therefore, we no longer operate in that state.
At least Dallas finally listened to their fans and left that horrible dragon stadium. While Naperville was far from ideal, dragon stadium made cardinal stadium seem like old trafford in comparison. Fans knowing better than ownership about where to play, hmmmmmm. But ownership were rich people who shoudn't be questioned right.
To make it Fire-related I'll spin it as "The Chicago Fire's own house of horrors at Fair Park is returning for 2004." Enjoy.
