Well Golly, Wally, when you you put it this way...

I first got to know George Bush when we served as governors together, and I just plain like the man, a man who feeds his dogs first thing every morning, has Larry Gatlin sing in the White House, and knows what is meant by the term "hitting behind the runner."

I am moved by the reverence and tenderness he shows the first lady and the unabashed love he has for his parents and his daughters.

I admire this man of faith who has lived that line in that old hymn, "Amazing Grace," "Was blind, but now I see." I like the fact that he's the same on Saturday night as he is on Sunday morning. And I like a man who shows respect for others by starting meetings on time.

I'm sure Osama bin Laden is shaking in his boots cuz George starts his meetings on time and feeds his dogs before he takes a duke every morning!

I read this when it came out on Monday.

Miller has determined correctly that by remaining a "Democrat" in name, his opinions get more prominent play in the press. So even though he's basically a Republican, he won't switch parties for as long as people are paying attention to what he says.

It violates the code against engaging in spelling smack, but a real pet peeve of mine is people who misspell the word:

    Y'ALL

How true. Sorry 'bout that. I normally pride myself in my spelling.

In fact, upon further examination, not only was my spelling incorrect, but so was my grammatical usage. It should have been Y'all's

Once again, please spread my condelences to all my fellow Americans who live below the Mason-Dixon line.

    thanks for your cooperation. :D
