my most played lists songs I haven't listened to in forever (and then only because they came up on random play) .... and completely omits songs I know I've listened to frequently. there's many songs I've listened to 10 times in a row that aren't on the list. so I'd post my list .... but it's nowhere close to being accurate. anyway to fix this?
Just post it anyway! (Mine's totally out-of-date too, but it still says something about something, right?) Then post it again in three months and see if there are major changes.
Did we by any chance trade Elbow for Ben Folds when we did the mix-CD thing? I can't remember. Also, that Connells song is awesome. I love that band. Do you have their latest CD?

The rest are a fair representation of the tunes I've been listening to since I got my iPod.
there hasn't been any changes to it since in the last three months and I can't see that changing over the next three months. there's songs I've listened to dozens of times not on that list. the list is irrelevant. can you turn that feature on/off? I wonder why mine doesn't update? for example, it lists 'walk like an egyption' on the list, which 1. I didn't even realize was on my ipod until I just looked and 2. Because of No. 1 I certainly haven't listened to it enough for it to be on my list.

could be, could be. sometimes I skip back to the front before the song is all the way done. interesting. but i still don't remember ever listening to walk like an egyptian (or even putting it on my ipod in the first place)
I have it set to update manually, because my wife has some songs on there (country) that I don't want near my ipod on general principle. that could be it. anywhere, here's a guess: 1. song by band you haven't heard of, thus lending me instand credibility 2. same 3. same 4-30. same
You definitely put "Scattered Black and Whites" on the mix you sent me. I already owned it, but that gave me a new-found appreciation for that song and for Elbow in general. I don't remember what I sent you, but I'll go out on a limb and say there was at least one Ben Folds track on it. Old-School Dropouts is the last Connells I bought. Are they even still together? Ring is one of my 5 desert-island discs.
Yeah, I've never heard of 90% of the crap you people have on your iPods. 1) Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson 2) Mr. Brightside - Killers 3) The Promise - When in Rome 4) Somebody Told Me - Killers 5) Breakfast At Tiffany's - Deep Blue Something 5) Hey Jealosy - Gin Blossoms 5) Feel Good Inc (Single Edit) - Gorillaz 5) Daughter - Pearl Jam 5) Rock DJ - Robbie Williams 10) Be My Yoko Ono - Barenaked Ladies 10) A Little Less Conversation (JXL radio edit remix) - Elvis Presley 10) Take a Chance On Me - Erasure 10) Stacy's Mom - Fountains of Wayne 10) Laid - James 10) Whenever, Wherever - Shakira 10) Without a Trace - Soul Asylum 10) Good - Better Than Ezra 18) Rush (New York City Club Version) - Big Audio Dynamite II 18) Almost - Bowling for Soup 18) Wheels - Cake 18) Friday I'm In Love - The Cure 18) Roll to Me - Del Amitri 18) Selling the Drama - Live 18) No Myth - Michael Penn 18) I Melt With You - Modern English 18) Dreamer's Disease - New Radicals 18) Mai Ai Hee (Dragostea Din Tei) [DJ Ross Extended Remix] - O-Zone 18) Surrender - Paw 18) Betterman - Pearl Jam 18) Millennium - Robbie Williams 18) Black Gold - Soul Asylum 18) 5,6,7,8 - Steps
I've probably seen The Connells live more than any other band, owing to the fact that they were huge on the college circuit when I was in college and their shows never cost that much money to attend. I think the last I bought, though, was "Weird Food Devestation". For me, Fun and Games is definitely a desert island disc. Top to bottom that's a great CD, while I think Ring drops off a little in places.
Yup. I loves me the iPod. When god handed down the iPod to moses to deliver to the masses, it was a glorious day.
