620 am WSNR has decided to cut down World Soccer Weekly chopping an hour off the show. WSW will start on Mondays at 12 am - 2 am, instead of 11pm - 2 am

    620 - WSNR
    475 Park Avenue South
    27th Floor
    New York, NY 10016

    e-mail: wsnr@620wsnr.com

The radio station manager there is FJ Henkel and his e-mail address is fjhenkel@sportingnews.com

Let him knew that we want WSW for the full 3 hours! Remember folks, we need as much soccer on the radio as we can get!

Honestly this is wrong. I know that's it's the Monday Night Football is the reason for this, but you know what WSNR is doing everyone an injustice.

I will let them know that this is wrong as well.

What does this have to do with other sports? Other sports are well represented on WFAN and ESPN radio 24 hours/7 days. We're talking about a lousy three hours a week cut down to a lousy two hours a week.

Last I listened, not on WSNR, unless you speak Russian (I think that's the language they're broadcasting in now).

While I wasn't their greatest fan I DID appreciate the fact that Sporting News Radio paid attention to sports and teams that you couldn't find much of on FAN or ESPN radio. And I LIKED having three sports radio stations in the NY area. Too bad they had to go bye-bye.

Sporting News Radio abandoned WSNR about a year ago after being handed their asses in the three-way competition with 'FAN and ESPN Radio for NYC sports fans.

The station is now only a dopey time-buy factory. Did you really think that they carried WSW as a programming strategy? They carried it because WSW bought time on the station.

I would guess that the World Soccer Weekly folks cut back on their expenditures or WSNR found a client willing to pay more for the 11pm - midnight slot.

In the future will you please refrain from using well reasoned thought supported by logic in any future online discussions.

    Thank you.

it still stinks.... I know WSW bought time on WSNR, however what could have been so important to steal an hour from WSW?
