Hey, so I'm from Columbus origonally and over there they would open up Crew Stadium in the middle of the night, wheel in huge screens and everyone was welcome to watch the games. This was all games mind you, every game from the world cup, even something like Saudi Arabia vs Tunisia. so i was wondering if LA or orange county has something similar. some of these games are early in the morning and bars would not be open, is there a public place where we can gather to watch all the games?
Matches featuring the likes of Mexico, South Korea, Iran, and just about every other migrant group in the world sets up something up in the LA area. Not so much for the US. But we are trying to change things. The England match won't be a problem as it's on at 11:30 am on a Saturday. A bar in Hollywood that we are currently trying to establish as our AO bar has said they are willing to work with us come the World Cup with early start times. If all goes well between now and then, we'll have no problem come the Slovenia and Algeria matches (and a few extra matches after that hopefully).
The LA Metropolitan area is huge. If the Los Angeles chapter is to grow, we need to be seen. As convinient of a place that the OCP is, we aren't getting much exposure there (people can't even see in). The bar in Hollywood has opened it doors for us. Feel free to come on by this Wednesday for the Netherlands match. The info is on our website: http://la.theamericanoutlaws.com/
