D.C.'s Bobby Convey nearly won the game with a minute remaining in overtime but his 18-yard shot sailed over the crossbar.

Bull sheet (can't say it right on bs), that ball was the game winner, and only a very alert Jon Busch knocking it over the bar kept it a tie. That was a nice shot.
AP stories are good for getting quick stuff out, but they are so inaccurate when it comes to details (in news or sports)

yeah, i thought that right footed shot was pretty damn good. if Busch hadn't knocked it over it either would have gone in or allowed for a rebound after hitting the cross bar.

I can't wait for Goff to get back. I hope that the Post doesn't consider the WWC part of it's regular soccer budget. It would suck if Goff couldn't cover United in the playoffs.
