UEFA and CL Draw

    UEFA Cup Draw involving Spanish teams:

    Real Betis Balompié (ESP) v FC Zimbru Chisinau (MOL)
    RC Celta da Vigo (ESP) v Odense BK (DEN)
    MKE Ankaragücü (TUR) v Deportivo Alavés (ESP)
    NK Zeljeznicar (BHZ) v Málaga CF (ESP)

    First match 19 Sept., return leg 3 Oct.

    As for the CL, the Spanish teams are paired in the following groups.

    Group B:
    Valencia
    Liverpool
    Spartak Moscow
    FC Basel

    Group C:
    Real Madrid
    AS Roma
    AEK Athens
    KRC Genk

    Group G:
    Bayern Munich
    Depor
    Milan AC
    RC Lens

    Group H:
    Barcelona
    Galatasaray
    Lokomotiv Moscow
    Club Brugge


    These games kick off on the 17-18th of September.

    I like how Marca has described that all of these teams besides Depor have an "easy" road to the next round ahead of them. :)

    Hopefully they'll all make it through.

    I still think Depor will go to the 2nd round, if they continue playing like they did against Valencia in the 1st leg of the Super Cup, they can beat any team.

    Depor's in the Group of Death, no doubt about it. The UEFA Cup ties are easy for the most part, but Zeljeznicar Sarajevo might be pretty tough for Malaga.
