    uh...doesn't Trabzanspor suck?

I would have preferred to see him go to Bolton, but I guess playing time is set for him there.

    How much?

I want DC United to bring a Korean here. We've got a large community in NoVA, not quite LA, but better (richer) than NYC.

Seems like it will be a 25 million transfer fee and a 6 million yearly wage. I'd love to see Koreans in the MLS, too. Maybe someday.

i think lee will be alright at turkey. they need reinforcements on the left-side.

hopefully he'll be the first of many koreans to go overseas.......

...unless their clubs have other plans.

COrrection. I think it is 1.6 million USD transfer fee and 0.5 million USD yearly wage.

I hear that the Turkish Superlig sucks other than the big three.

Hopefully, Lee will finally get to strut his stuff in front of fans that actually give an unconditional shi+.

Trabzonspor is fairly good. Actually, in Turkey, it's the Big Four: Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are the two really big clubs, and Besiktas and Trabzonspor are close behind.

then try hard on Hong. You probably have the best chance in getting him than any other Korean. I also heard that Brian McBride is coming to Korea !!!
That's pretty exciting as he is my favorite MLS player.

I think it was kind of weird that Lee Eul-yong was the first to go after the World Cup (that is if you're not counting Cha-Doo who was picked to go during the Cup).

Maybe it's because I remember EY Lee for all his crappy plays and not his good ones.

    CRAP:
vs. U.S. - missing the penalty
vs. U.S. - not picking up Mathis when there weren't any other American players around the box
vs. Spain - should have closed down the Spanish player before the linesman made that awful call

    GOOD:
vs. Poland - great cross to Hwang
vs. U.S. - great freekick cross to Ahn
vs. Turkey - downright SEXY freekick goal

he's been solely responsible for 5 or 6 goals for and against Korea.
